Serious Issues Require Serious Solutions
Current politicians are afraid to tackle tough issues in fear they will lose votes. Chris is different, he’s not afraid to tackle tough issues because the people need him to. The focus of governing will be by the people, for the people, and with a bipartisan approach, middle ground solutions, and effective legislation.

As our Homeland Security Secretary and Border Patrol Supervisors have testified, we have a crisis at our border. We must stop the flow of illegal migrants who are abusing our asylum laws. I promise to support the reform of chain migration, visa lottery and the asylum process. We must protect DACA participants and at the same time acknowledge the abuse migrants are taking on our system since January 1, 2019. Immigrants must assimilate into our culture, learn English, our history, mathematics and gain skills to be contributing member of society. I promise to form the Interim Alien Agency to formally deal with the processing of illegal aliens we have in this country and cannot turn back.
Obamacare failed to address the major problems with health care and only made it worse. Insurance companies need to be able to compete across state lines and open up competition. A standardized system of pricing by medical care providers must also be established. Pre-existing conditions have to be covered and a subsidy system can aid for lower income participants. Reforming the system in that was will lower prices dramatically and combined with prescription drug price regulation, you would see more people covered than ever before.
Unlike other politicians who simple talk about border security, I promise to do something about it. We must invest in personnel, technology and physical deterrents. All three work and anything less is just a band-aid on the problem. When we combine the increase in personnel, technology and physical deterrents with changed immigration laws we will solve the problem. The flow of drugs through our Southern Border is staggering and it is killing our people, driving up homelessness and I promise implement laws to deal with the problem. It is also a tragedy how many people are dying in the human smuggling trade that must be stopped. Securing the border will save lives.
Homelessness is a product of mental health, drugs, lack of education and lack of employable skills. I will tackle the issues of mental health and go to the root of the problem. We must get the homeless off drugs as well, it is the second highest reason that people cannot get out of poverty. Without education and skills, people cannot work their way out of living in the streets as well. I vow to help those in need, provide assistance with mental health, drug addiction, education and skill building.
Abortion should be a States rights issue and left to the voters of that State. It is sad that corporations and Hollywood elitist are trying to force their will on others after they have voted how they see fit. This is an impossible argument that neither side will win. We must balance our faith, our constitution and apply the law. There is no constitutional right to abortion which is why it should always be left up to the States and the voters. I am a Catholic, but I also understand other people are not, so I cannot push my religion on anyone. I do think there is a balance between both, and that balance must be decided by the voters.
There is a major ecological issue with plastic waste and carbon emissions in our world and that is something I am passionate about. Plastics are choking our oceans and infecting the fish we eat and there’s no reason we can’t make changes now. The fossil fuels we burn are also killing our barrier reefs that provide a catalyst to world climate change. I promise to address these issues in a responsible, gradual and global approach. This effort must be worldwide and cannot cripple economies, so we must work on sensible solutions with our partners around the world.
Our campaign will tackle the issue no one likes to talk about. I promise to restructure the social security system so that it no longer is a dying program. At the same time, we will address the dire need to fix the funding problem and the system’s ultimate bankruptcy. We must treat social security as an investment not only for the people, but for the government that is promising a return on people’s money. The social security system will also be broken up into parts to address immigrant entrance into the system, apart from natural born citizens.
An aggressive approach to reduce the flow of drugs into this country starts at their source. We must stop the defensive approach to drug control, to and offensive one. Taking stronger measures against the source of drug manufacturing, will help reduce the strain on defensive measures at our borders. Our law enforcement officers must also not be tied by restrictive policies that keep them from aggressive combat against seizing the drugs within our neighborhoods. It’s time to take the fight to the drug problem, instead of waiting for it to come to us.
A new agency should be created that is solely dedicated to the implementation of the new credit reporting system. Our credit will no longer be attached to our social security number that was never designed to track credit. Credit scores, penalties, challenges to reports, and credit score repair would now have due process and limits on how long your score is affected by reports. With the new agency and new system, you could repair your credit in a reasonable time after it was affected. The new system would also expose all the fraudulent people enrolled in social security and would always be a fraud check to social security and vice versa.
Reasonable gun control is a necessity in our Country. We need to address the mental health and stability of individuals that want to own guns. Thorough background checks on every firearm are very reasonable along with a 30-day waiting period. We have a constitutional right to possess firearms and this is a reasonable balance to ensure those that should have guns, can possess them. There is also a reasonable balance between what types of guns may be owned and by whom.
Socialism in any form does not work. Period. Socialism has never worked and trying the same thing repeatedly, expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. We have some work to do with capitalism to make it better, and I promise to do that. I will tackle the inequality in pay, the struggle to get ahead in life and the financial systems that hold us back. America was built on hard work, and we must never forget that as it is a large part in any individual gain. The government needs to responsibly regulate, and the people need to work hard. I promise to bring back this balance.
We need to fight and take care of our veterans before we take care of illegal aliens and that is not happening right now. Our veterans deserve choice and access to the medical care provider of their choice. We must allow them access to the private system and make VA hospital’s money generating facilities which will increase the standard of care. The government needs to remove the regulations and restrictions on veteran’s health care, allow the private markets to compete, drive down cost and increase care.
Why is Congress trying to give themselves a raise when they’re not doing their jobs? It is long overdue that we put term limits on Congress, reduce their funding and put them back in their place as servants, not “stars”. Congress has become like Hollywood, out of touch, rich, power hungry elitist. I fight for the common American, the working American, the 9-5 paycheck to paycheck American. I come from humble roots and I want to bring that humility to Washington and bring power back to the true stars, the American people.
I remember the time when Republicans and Democrats got along in order to accomplish goals for the greater good of Americans and I intend on bringing that mentality back. As a country, we must stop attacking each other and start working with each other. I promise to work with my colleagues across the aisle and from different perspectives to bridge the gap of social division. There is no room for hate, and it’s time that we stood up to those that have hate in their hearts and at the same time use hate as a tool to divide us where none exists. We must start looking at qualities, not skin color, religion, creed, gender or statistics.
The business world gets the best employees by paying the best as such. It’s time to cancel the tenure system and go to a merit-based pay system. This will motivate educators to perform at high levels all the time, not get complacent in their profession, all while increasing their pay. College tuition and student loans need to be addressed and lowered which will spur economic growth as well as attendance. Accountability across the board, from professors, parents and students also must be increased, to ensure we are putting our children on a pathway to success.
The State of California is taxing us to death, driving business out, crushing the middle-class family from getting ahead and holding back our economic potential. We need to cancel government programs that waste money, stop encouraging illegal immigration that is an economic drain on the state and alleviating the pain from the middle-class family that is struggling to survive. Our County deserves to have functioning infrastructure, clean streets, great policing, clean water and a responsible and fiscal government. We can deliver that with responsible spending and lower taxes.
